updates

exams are finally over. i don't really wanna talk about it, coz its really in a mess. not that it was my fault. but well, we'll see about it when the results come out. for now, i just want to have a good break this week, before i start school again.

mindy just went for her Epi-Lasik procedure yesterday. The poor thing was in so much pain the whole of yesterday because apparently, after the procedure, they put in a lens over the eye balls as a layer of protection and also to help it recover faster. and apparently, don't know for whatever reason, the lens in my baby's right eye fell out without us knowing. so she couldn't open her right eye comfortably, and hence it screwed up everything because she was supposed to try to open her eyes periodically. she was in real shit last night.

we went for the follow-up this morning and the doctor was so shocked to hear, and so embarassed. he did it all up for her and put in a new lens. now she can open up her eyes much more comfortably. in fact, she feels more comfortable opening her eyes than keeping it shut. yay. do continue to pray for her as she recovers yeah. hopefully she can be up and swinging full motion soon.

Ok. enough for now. i really need to get back to studying.. its been such a shitty week. half of my study week is gone and im falling really sick right now, have wasted 2 days being sick and not revising much. there's so much to cover this term. URGH!

The Bryan is now studying... study study study.. saw him last night, looking very serious and pouring through his books... :p

Blog conquered!

After days of surfing Bryan's blog for any signs of life, I've decided to take over and update everyone! HAha.. yes, this is none other than Mindy.. Starting to feel a little foolish about this but nonetheless, the show must go on...

Now, one must wonder what Bryan Sim does during his weekends... a little itinerary for all to see..

Fri night:
4.30 p.m - Out of school and on the way to Raffles Place
5.00 p.m - Settling nicely with computer and internet all established to start his quest on Facebook (if you don't know by now, Bryan is an ADDICT of Facebook and spend many many loving hours on the net because of it, namely a programme known as Fight Club Fighters' Club)
6.15 p.m - Received tip about free mini wagyu burgers being served at SuperFamous (a cafe/restaurant/some food place outside OCBC Centre). Promptly shut down computer and move across for cheap, but good champagne. Burgers vanquished that night = 3.
8.00 p.m - By now, Bryan has had 1 coffee, 3 champagnes and is on his way to Wine Company at Evans Road for my alkie and food. Total food consumption = Few 4 glasses of wine, 2 plates of char kway teow and some salad in an attempt to have "healthful" food counteract the char kway teow
11.00 p.m - Off to another party at Candy Bar Kandi Bar (Clarke Quay): Can't update more on this because I wasn't there but was told by somebody's mum that his whole room stank of alkie the next day! (Well, let me update the damage that night then, 3 bottles of chivas. LOL) Hahaha... what's new? (i'd like to say that despite how bad it sounds, and how bad it actually was, i still did good coz i still woke up at 9AM the following morning for our errands, as planned. :P )

Sat:
Not going to do the timeline thing as old age catches up with me and I have no longer any clear idea what we did that day.. but generally, it was key collection of my new place, followed by breakfast at Mackers and then spa in the morning; quick lunch at Food Republic at Wisma after collecting my phone and rushing home to get stuff for the night, shopping in the evening followed by an dinner event hosted by Asian Outreach for the night. He's such a sweetie, right? Every weekend, he patiently accompanies me to do my heap load of errands. :)

Then he went for a jog and we had dinner with the Sims.. you can imagine how exhausted the 2 of us were by the end of that day... ZZZZzzzz.. it was an early night for all.. :)
